About Grace

I’m Grace Savage; a professional beatboxer, vocalist and looping artist and a 4× UK Beatbox Champion. I’ve spent the last 15+ years performing and teaching worldwide, from 1–1 coaching to large-scale workshops, and I’ve taught all ages and abilities in schools, theatres, youth settings and community projects.

I teach because I’ve seen what happens when someone realises their voice can do more than they ever thought possible. Beatboxing isn’t just a skill - it’s confidence, play, musicality and self-expression. My sessions are supportive, structured and fun, with clear goals and practical exercises that meet you exactly where you’re at.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a singer who wants more rhythm and control, or an aspiring beatboxer building routines and stage presence, I’ll help you build solid technique and find your own unique sound with professionalism, encouragement, and a plan that actually works.

About the lesson

In my 30-40 minute lessons, I help complete beginners and intermediate beatboxers of all ages discover the power and technical possibilities of your voice - without it ever feeling intimidating. We use fun, simple exercises to build solid foundations and breathing techniques then level up through experimentation and targeted technique.

You’ll learn how to:
• Master core sounds with better strength, clarity, timing and control
• Write and read beatbox notation so you can remember, refine and develop ideas fast
• Build routines that improve power, technicality and groove
• Add melody to your beats (even if you don’t think you “can sing”)
• Create a proper drop that adds a “wow moment” to your routine
• Work through any fear or self-consciousness around using your voice in a new way

Most importantly, I’ll help you find your own style. Generic YouTube tutorials can make everyone sound the same so I’m here to help you sound like you. Once we've mastered the basics, we will work on crafting a stage-ready 60–90 second routine, and even creating your own beatbox name if you want one!
