About Tim
I perform and teach music, by engaging and exciting kids and adults to learn and express themselves through playing an instrument. Guitar and uke. I teach at Skye Primary School and Aldercourt Primary in Frankston North, teaching over 100 students from grade 3-5.
I've been performing music to families for about 15 years at folk clubs, festivals and venues around Melbourne. I write my own songs and recorded a number of CDs. I have also run a Ukulele group, taught Guitar lessons privately for 5 years to students of all ages.
Music has always been my passion, especially community music.

I teach an engaging song based method, which is customised to you. Teaching you how to play a song you love as soon as possible helps with your confidence and is overall more enjoyable.
I can teach a range of songs and styles which help you with the correct technique, building a foundation of songs while introducing helpful theory. I can also teach you through AMEB studies.

Tim plays chords that I've never heard of. And I'm a guitar teacher! He's very calm and encouraging and I would thoroughly recommend him for any adult students that want to expand their theory or for any kids just starting out. He's a great muso and an all round nice guy!
