About Oliver
Hi, I’m Oliver — my Chinese name is 泰山 (Tàishān). English is my first language, but my mother is Chinese, and she has always encouraged me to learn Mandarin. I also studied Mandarin in a British secondary school, so I understand the curriculum thoroughly — I achieved 100% in my Mandarin GCSE. I love teaching Mandarin: not only can I help you excel academically, but my lessons will also give you a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and language.

My Mandarin lessons are fun and engaging, directly aligned with the GCSE curriculum, or any specified field of your choice. Typically 1-2 hour lessons. Age range: any - my lessons are targeted for GCSE pupils, or even adults wishing to learn. I have mentored students in my school, (even in my year) with Mandarin GCSE - my 2 students both obtained an A* I have also done online mandarin lessons with larger classes of children in primary schools.
