About Serena
Seven years of teaching has taught me how the hammers strike the strings to create a resonant hum in a quiet room. I guide everyone from nervous beginners to grade exam candidates using chord voicing, sight transposition, jazz improvisation, sight playing, and classical repertoire. My studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music shaped my view of performance mechanics. I adapt my teaching to the specific needs of each individual student in front of me.
