About Talia
I have a proven track record of raising students' grades from an F to an A. I have helped numerous students get accepted to college. While I am proud of the academic success my students and I achieve working together, my goal goes far beyond this. My favorite part of tutoring is helping students build confidence in their own abilities, helping them recognize that no matter how tricky or daunting a problem may seem initially, it can be done. I aim to equip students with skillsets and confidence that will serve them inside and outside the academic realm.

My teaching style is interactive, as opposed to offering a lecture or going through the material without solving practice problems together. I identify each student's optimal learning method and create an individualized strategy to cater to that. I also help students create study guides & formula sheets as well as help them develop time management/organizational and study skills.
