I am a visionary, who is passionate about early music education and building artistic confidence. I have a wealth of experience performing and teaching and this has been strengthened by my time at Berklee College of Music. My teaching approach is rooted in clarity, adaptability, and guided discovery. I start by identifying the student’s current understanding and goals, then tailor my explanations using analogies, visuals, and real-world applications. I prioritize active engagement, where students are encouraged to ask questions, explain concepts back to me, and solve problems collaboratively. I also use scaffolding—breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts—before gradually removing support as the student gains confidence. I incorporate different learning styles (auditory, visual, kinesthetic) to ensure the material resonates, and I frequently check for understanding with low-stakes assessments and open-ended discussion.
