About Kirsty
My name is Kirsty McGillivray, I am 26 years old and I have been teaching for the last 4 years. I have experience teaching in Primary Schools and in High Schools so my understanding and knowledge of the Scottish Maths curriculum is very sound. I am currently a maths teacher at Hawick High School and I would love to continue the work I do in the classroom to support learners reach their goals. One to one tuition is highly beneficial to developing a wider understanding and building confidence within maths. When I was at high school, I had a maths tutor and that is where I became a confident mathematician to be a maths teacher today.
