About Mahima
I have been learning Bharathanatyam since I was 4 years old. This skill has given me so much inner peace, passion, dedication, and devotion. I have completed my Arangetram when I was 9 years old and have performed on various stages all over India. Even after a lot of health-related struggles and sufficient breaks, I have now started practicing this again which is due to the dedication and love I have towards this art. This has changed my life a lot and will definitely change yours..

I have experience teaching Bharathanatyam for almost 5 years: Starting with the eight main types of adavus (steps) and also hand, eye, neck, and face gestures are to be covered as basics. Followed by basic songs (pushpanjali, allarippu, padams, and keerthanais) will be taught during sessions. The intermediate and advanced levels include learning items such as jatheeshwaram and varnam. It has been a very good experience and I would love to teach more!!
