About Laura
I am a dual languages degree (French and Spanish) graduate from the University of Exeter. I lived in France from 2005 to 2014 and was taught in a French school from 2005-2012. I taught English in Spain during my year abroad and worked for the British Council Languages Assistants programme in 2016, then went on to be an Ambassador for the programme in 2017. I really enjoy tutoring as I find it so rewarding when my students learn new skills and increase their confidence.

I will prepare lessons relevant to your needs. If you are studying for GCSEs or A Levels, I will do the appropriate research to help you with a specific topic or a specific aspect of the language that you need help with. I will occasionally do Dictées or spelling 'tests' to check that what I have taught you has been learnt but if you do well you will be rewarded with a treat of your choice (usually chocolate)!
