I am a bilingual kindergarten teacher offering personalized tutoring in English for English and Spanish speakers, Spanish, and Math. My lessons are child-centered, engaging, and adapted to each student’s learning style. I focus on building confidence, foundational skills, and a love for learning. A typical lesson includes:
Warm-up (5–10 min): review of previous skills with games or conversation
Main lesson (20–25 min): instruction in English or Spanish using visuals, manipulatives, and guided practice
Practice activity: independent or supported reinforcement
Wrap-up: review and goal-setting for next session
What sets me apart: I create a safe, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable learning at their own pace, and I use my experience with early childhood development to make lessons fun and effective. My tutoring is ideal for Kindergarten to 2nd grade students, including English speakers, Spanish speakers learning English, children learning Spanish as a second language, and students needing support in basic Math. Lessons can be conducted in-person or online depending on your preference.
