About Alessia
I am a final year student at the University of Bristol studying Italian and French. I am bilingual in English and Italian. I just recently spent 6 months working in Italy as part of my Year Abroad and developed an even stronger fluency in the language. My qualifications include A* in Italian GCSE and my current studies at university. I have taught young children Italian on a weekly basis for 2 years at home and now am offering online classes during UK lockdown. Approximately 15 students joined my classes. Over this period, my students developed a strong understanding the language and vocabulary.

I am experienced in teaching young children age ranging from 5 to 12 years old!
In each lesson I will focus on a specific theme with the students and this will represent one 'Level'. A total of 5 levels equals one 'Star', beginning with a 'Bronze Star' and progressing to Gold. For every 'Star' passed the student will receive a certificate!
I have found that this structure is very motivating for young learners and has a very high success rate. In my lessons I use interactive activities and exciting videos and complete the lesson with a 'bonus' task for the student to further expand their knowledge on the theme.
