About Isabel
I am a nutrition student looking to make money on the side while I study, and I thought I could use my bilingual skills to do just that. I have been teaching a friend of mine for a few months now and he has made a lot of progress. I have also taught classmates over the years as well as my own siblings. I have learned a lot about teach Spanish from my mother who is a Spanish Language teacher now for 12 years.

I typically use various textbooks, as well as apps like Kahoot and Duolingo. I find that sometimes making a game out of the vocabulary words helps to get the students accustomed to them more quickly. Also role playing activities can help to practice conversational skills and vocabulary skills for everyday situations. Memory games also help with vocabulary memorization and use.
