About Almaris

Learning a new language can be scary, but I’m here to help! I am originally from Puerto Rico and am bilingual in Spanish and English. For my last semester in college, I will participate in a teaching apprenticeship for a research course. I am also going to be teaching English abroad in Spain starting fall 2023. This is a safe space for learning and making mistakes. If you’re a heritage seeker and want to learn your native language, now is the time! Happy learning!

About the lesson

I focus on a collaborative and immersive teaching approach. I understand how daunting it is to learn a new language (I was in the ESOL program until 7th grade). Perfect for beginner and advanced students, and heritage seekers who want to learn their native language. Remember, it’s never too late to learn a language!
