About Heidi
Hi, I am a biochemistry student who is currently in high school. Growing up, I've always been interested in any kind of STEM-related topic. I took AP Chemistry last year and received a 5. I also partake in a biochemistry club where we learn biology and chemistry concepts to compete in the Biology Olympiad and Chemistry Olympiad. I am currently taking college math and physics classes as a high schooler. I look forward to creating a bond with each other while also further developing your skills. My past teachers helped my passion for STEM topics prosper, and I hope to do the same for you guys. I am extremely passionate about teaching others in the hopes that I can guide you guys to success. Being able to hear about it in the future is the best reward, I can't wait!

I tutor online, it can be over text or through an online call. For the online meeting, it will be over an app or website that allows me to screenshare so I can provide a slideshow or example problems for the student. Cameras do NOT have to be on, as mine won't be. Before starting lessons, the student should converse with me about specific concepts or topics they are struggling with or are not confident about. This allows me to prepare a detailed lesson specified to the student. I would also love to know the student's preferred learning style so I can adhere to their specific needs. I will mainly go over the Texas TEKS of a subject, but I will teach some further concepts regarding related concepts I deem important. Regarding lessons and practice, I'll also provide optional websites if the student wants to study more on their own time. These websites are ones that have generally helped me study and score well for exams and assignments. My lessons are for highschoolers and any grade level below. For chemistry, I can teach up to general college chemistry.
