About Jennifer
I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in biochemistry and spent several years working in the medical industry in training and education. After discovering that i had a passion for helping people learn I completed my PGCE and QTS and have loved every minute of my teaching career. I try to encourage my students to be critical thinkers and to want to investigate the world around them and try to inspire them to become lifelong learners. Whilst I support students in the rigorous pursuit of academic excellence i ensure that this is accompanied by a passionate concern for wellbeing and always prioritising enjoyment of learning, finding innovative ways to reward and encourage at every level.

I am an experienced teacher of KS3 (general science), KS4 (Chemistry and Physics) and KS5 (chemistry). My passion is making some of sciences more difficult concepts accessible and fun so that students will really want to engage and learn. I am patient, compassionate and understanding and have experience with a wide variety of educational needs. Typical lessons are an hour long but would be happy to cater to the individual needs of the student and their families.
