I start lessons by introducing a topic and letting the student talk about what they understand about said topic so that I can gauge their understanding. If needed, I will then talk to them about the topic before doing some worked examples with them and then giving them a chance to do questions by themselves! As exams approach, we will work through past papers together to ensure the student is fully prepared for their final exams and correct any misconceptions they may have on any topics. A typical lesson will last 1 hour, but can go up to 2 depending on your needs! I have tutored GCSE students in the past for a year and a half, stopped to focus on my A-levels and I'm now starting tuition again! My lessons are generally targeting those starting or nearing A-levels (16-18+)
