About Ella
I’m a biological science undergraduate at the University of Liverpool. I studied maths and biology A level and had a maths tutor myself. He was an amazing teacher and allowed me to understand difficult topics with ease, encouraging me with kindness and giving me confidence for my exams. I’d love to share the gift he’s given me and support students of my own.

I like to start my lessons by asking my students for topics or questions they are having trouble understanding. From there I can begin the lesson by checking the students' knowledge of the core concepts of this topic, where I can further explain weak points or move on to those harder concepts. I like to set homework related to topics covered which, if necessary, can be gone over and explained in our next lesson. I teach memory and focusing techniques to use in future exams and lessons, and am a kind and friendly teacher; however, I like to push my students to work hard. My lessons last 30-45 minutes.
