About Hannah
My name is Hannah and I’ve just graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Biological Sciences. I want to teach Biology because I’ve always enjoyed helping others, and I believe I’m good at explaining difficult concepts in a simple and engaging way.
When at school, I boosted my grades in Maths, Physics, and Biology, from ABB to A*A*A* in a year. I want to inspire and encourage others that this kind of improvement is possible, and share tips on how to revise and practice exam technique so you can excel in exams and achieve top grades.
My approach will be kind, patient, and encouraging, whilst making Biology easy to understand and fun.

I have a BA degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford, meaning I have a solid understanding of Biology and can explain difficult concepts in easy-to-understand ways.
My teaching approach will focus on developing sound understanding of each topic, by explaining things in different ways and encouraging questions. I will also provide tips for effective revision depending on the student’s learning style, and will emphasis the importance of exam technique and practice.
I can teach any age/level up to university level, in any area of biology, and classes can be online or in-person. Depending on the topic I may also be able to tutor university-level students - please feel free to enquire. Lesson duration will be up to you but should be at least 30 minutes.
