About Leah
I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I have been working as a wildlife biologist for five years, including laboratory and field research. During my undergraduate experience, I was a Teacher's Assistant for three years, during which I held weekly office hours where I offered tutoring to my students, and the students who attended my office hours to ask questions frequently scored better on exams.

My approach as a tutor is to help you really learn the information, not just understand it. My lessons start by getting to know your base understanding of the subject, and then work through your questions together to develop a well-rounded knowledge of a subject. I hope to bring real-world examples to materials in biological sciences, and to provide study tools for learning difficult topics.
