About Clara
I have completed my BSc Biology with Economics and am now on an MSc Sports & Exercise Medicine at the University of Exeter, after which I hope to study medicine or bioinformatics. My subjects excite me as they will help others and shape the future. Academically, I have taken GCSEs, completed the IB diploma, my bachelors, as well taking the UCAT, BMAT and GAMSAT, and have undergone various admission procedures to sixth forms and universities.
Outside of academia, I volunteer at the local hospital, and love the outdoors, sports, music and art. I am an active member in various of the university's societies for these hobbies, including the treasurer for the Women's Basketball Club.
As for tutoring, when I was 14, I set up my own tutoring company and tutored younger pupils at my school. Additionally, when 20, I worked for CoachBright as a volunteer tutor for GCSE Science. I found both experiences incredibly rewarding, as I love helping others understand and expand their knowledge.

When I tutor, I aim to structure my lessons around the syllabus at hand and the difficulties my students have in certain areas. Additionally, I like to help my students explore which ways they learn best (i.e. through colours, drawing, flashcards, mind maps, cheat sheets etc.) to gain confidence in their study skills to help improve their grades. For me personally, flashcards and summary tables always do the trick :)
