About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a friendly and patient tutor with a strong academic background in both science and the humanities. I hold a BA and MA in Literature and am currently completing science coursework as a pre-med student, so I understand both the analytical and creative sides of learning.

I specialize in helping students feel comfortable with challenging material and building confidence step by step. Many students come to me feeling overwhelmed by subjects like biology or chemistry, and we work together to break complex ideas into manageable pieces that make sense.
