About David
I am a food engineer graduated from UDLAP, and I am currently completing a PhD in food science. I have experience developing projects in the food industry and extensive knowledge of basic science subjects, such as mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry, as well as specialized subjects in the biological sciences in general, and food science and engineering in particular. I also have extensive experience in writing, both academic and creative, in Spanish and English. I have worked as an assistant professor at UDLAP throughout my doctorate, so I have experience in private and group counseling, as well as in group classes. I have primarily taught math, finance, and academic writing courses.

I like to structure my classes based on the competencies and learning styles of each student. I understand that not all of us learn in the same way or at the same speed, and that it is necessary to take into account the feedback of students regarding their experience with my classes and with classes they have taken with other teachers. For me, the most important thing is that the student has understood the fundamentals of the subject, since a solid base greatly facilitates the understanding of more complex topics. I try to teach all the subjects using examples and practical situations to help the students relate the knowledge to observations and experiences they have made in real life.
