About Sarah
Hello! My name is Sarah, and I recently graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I am passionate about science, healthcare, and helping students build confidence in subjects that may initially feel overwhelming.
Along with my academic background, I have hands-on healthcare experience as a Medication Technician and Behavior Technician, and I am also NREMT and BLS/CPR certified. These experiences have strengthened my communication, patience, professionalism, and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and supportive way.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s needs and learning pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them truly understand and feel more confident in biology and life science subjects.

I am a Biology graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a passion for helping students understand science in a simple and approachable way. My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and college students who want extra support in biology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, and related life science courses.
My teaching style focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into clear, easy-to-understand explanations while adapting lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment during every session.
A typical lesson may include reviewing class material, practicing exam-style questions, using diagrams and real-world examples, and building strong study strategies to improve understanding and confidence. With my healthcare background as a Medication Technician, Behavior Technician, and NREMT-certified provider, I also bring practical medical and clinical insight into many biology topics.
