About Nicole
My name is Nicole, and I am a biology graduate with experience as a teaching assistant and in academic research. I have a strong foundation in the life sciences and a passion for helping students build confidence in subjects that can often feel challenging or overwhelming.
Through my academic studies and hands-on experience as a teaching assistant, I developed a deep understanding of core biology topics such as cell biology, genetics, physiology, and ecology. My research experience further strengthened my ability to analyze scientific concepts, think critically, and explain complex material in a clear and structured way. I bring these skills into my tutoring approach to help students not only improve their grades, but truly understand the material.
I take a patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to teaching. I recognize that every student learns differently, so I tailor my explanations and methods to fit individual needs. Hi, I’m Nicole! My approach to tutoring is centered around making biology understandable, relatable, and even enjoyable. I also incorporate active learning techniques like quizzing, teaching-back methods, and problem-solving to make sure the material really sticks.

We’ll work through questions together, and I’ll show you how to approach them logically rather than just guessing.
