Biology Lecturer and PhD Scientist | AQA GCSE Biology Specialist | A-Level Also Available

Nikki came to carry out a PhD in my research group in 2012. Her passion for biological, medical and therapeutic research and healthcare challenges was evident throughout her PhD, and she was heavily involved in outreach and teaching in areas surrounding her interests and specialisms, showing her desire to educate and inspire the next generation of potential scientists and researchers. Her biological skill and knowledge is exceptional, and she also built up skills in other areas such as physics and mechanics.

Nicola mentored me during my PhD for around two years. In addition to her deep knowledge, I found her to be extremely patient, warm, reliable, and an excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Nikki is an amazing teacher who is very patient and knowledgable. I learned so much in my time with her that i’ve been able to apply elsewhere with confidence. I highly recommend Nikki as she really cares about your learning experience and puts a lot of effort in to ensure you understand the content and makes it fun at the same time!

Nicola is a family friend who I approached to be my tutor for GCSE biology. The thing that I liked best about her teaching methods was her clear explanations and willingness to try and explain things in a different way if I still didn’t understand the topic. I found our study sessions to be enjoyable and extremely helpful in securing the grade I wanted for GCSE. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
