About Adil
Hi, I am a qualified Dentist with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a BEng in Chemical Engineering, alongside professional experience in NHS healthcare and training roles. My academic background gives me a strong foundation in human biology, physiology, anatomy and the life sciences. My training experience has developed my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my teaching to each student’s needs, helping them build confidence and understanding in biology.
Through my training roles, I’ve developed the ability to explain complex information clearly and adapt my approach to people with different levels of knowledge and confidence. I bring that same patient, supportive approach to biology tutoring, making space for questions and taking the time to work through anything that feels difficult.
I want to help students understand why things happen, rather than simply memorise facts. By breaking topics into manageable steps and connecting them to everyday examples, I aim to make biology more approachable and interesting.
Whether you’re struggling with certain topics or working towards a higher grade, my goal is to help you build confidence, develop your understanding and feel more prepared for your exams.

My biology lessons are tailored to your level, learning pace and goals. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, keeping up with your course or preparing for exams, we’ll focus on the areas where you need the most support.
We begin with a short recap to check your understanding and identify any gaps. I then break down the topic using clear explanations, diagrams and practical examples, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. You’ll apply what you’ve learned through guided exercises before working through questions independently.
For exam preparation, we’ll practise relevant past-paper questions and explore how to structure answers, use scientific terminology and understand what the mark scheme is looking for.
Each lesson finishes with a recap of the key points and clear next steps for revision. My aim is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and building your confidence in biology.
