About Helene
I am a rising college senior at Bryn Mawr College who will be graduating next year. I am majoring in Biology and am pursuing a minor in Psychology. This Fall I will be conducting genetics research with a professor which I am really looking forward to. My plans after I graduate include getting into a Master's program for Genetic Counseling, as I am passionate about genetics and providing assistance to others. I will be leading the Biology Major thesis Writing Club next year and I am also a member of the Research and Opportunities Club at Bryn Mawr.

As a tutor, I will tailor my lessons towards the student's needs by first explaining the core concepts, providing useful examples, and answering questions they may have. I utilize an encouraging and supportive approach that helps the student to reach their full potential. I am full of positivity and I love seeing students make progress in their learning. I will then provide practice problems and then make sure to model the correct problem-solving strategies. I also have excellent studying tips and strategies that I can recommend for students as they are preparing for future exams. Overall, I truly enjoy helping others grow as learners in math and science.
