About Me
Hello! I’m Jeriah, a Biology student at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) with a strong interest in communication, education, and helping others learn.
As a university student, I understand that learning a new skill can sometimes feel intimidating. That’s why I approach tutoring with patience, professionalism, and genuine understanding. I believe that every learner has different strengths, challenges, and ways of learning, so I take the time to understand my students and adapt my lessons accordingly.
My approach to ESOL tutoring is centered on practical English and real-life communication. Rather than simply memorizing rules, I want my students to understand why English works the way it does and, more importantly, feel comfortable using it in everyday situations.
I am committed to creating a respectful, encouraging, and judgment-free learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve at their own pace.
Whether you are a beginner learning the basics or an advanced learner looking to become more confident and fluent, I will do my best to make every lesson structured, engaging, and tailored to your goals.
