About Shiree
As a science tutor, my goal is to make learning feel exciting, understandable, and stress-free. I take big, confusing topics and break them down into simple steps, using visuals, real-life examples, and hands-on practice so students stay engaged and actually enjoy what they’re learning. During each lesson, we start with a quick review, move into a fun and clear explanation of the topic, work through problems together, and end with a short check to make sure everything makes sense. What sets me apart is my background as a Biology major and a former science communication intern—experience that taught me how to turn complicated scientific ideas into stories and examples that students can relate to. I’ve also spent years working with kids and teens, which means I know how to keep lessons positive, supportive, and confidence-building. My sessions are perfect for middle and high school students who want a patient, encouraging tutor who makes science easier to understand and a lot more fun.

My supportive approach is shaped by years of working with students through YMCA programs and my hands-on healthcare and lab experience, which helps me connect classroom science to practical, real-world situations. My lessons are ideal for middle and high school science students, as well as intro-level college biology learners who want patient, personalized instruction.
