About Sofia
Hello and welcome. I am a Biology educator with an MSc in Biology and over four years of tutoring experience teaching students at school and university levels. My goal is to make biology clear, interesting, and meaningful for every learner. I focus on helping students understand how living systems grow, change, and function.
One of my main teaching interests is biological development. I explain how cells become specialized and how tissues and organs form during development. I use simple examples from everyday life and real biological processes to make complex ideas easier to understand. This helps students clearly see how a single cell can develop into a complete organism.

My teaching approach in Biology focuses on building clear understanding and strong exam skills. I teach students from school and university levels and support them in topics such as cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and physiology. I also help students preparing for AP Biology with structured lessons that focus on key concepts and exam strategies.
I guide learners through experimental design, data analysis, and scientific reasoning so they can understand how biological investigations work. Students practice interpreting graphs, tables, and biological data step by step. I also train them to answer free response questions clearly and confidently. This helps them organize their ideas and write strong scientific explanations.
My sessions include targeted drills, concept reviews, and regular practice tests. These exercises help students strengthen weak areas and build speed and accuracy. I focus on exam preparation, assignments, and problem solving using real style questions.
