About Hugo
As a university student in the field of Biology, I've studied both Biology GCSE and A-Level, and had plenty of help in the process, something I used to feel ashamed of, but now know is a sign of strength rather than weakness.
I struggled on multiple occasions both in school and while revising when I did not ask for help. Becoming a tutor made me grateful to all teachers and tutors that helped me learn and made me realise I didn't ever want anyone to struggle in silence like I did.
Biology is also hard! With key terms and processes needing full understanding, it's easy to lose track of thoughts, as stress and anxiety build for upcoming exams.
My tutoring helps to break concepts down into bitesize pieces of information, explaining long processes step-by-step, and how to remember techniques for the future.
I also advise you on how to use key terms effectively and how to remind yourself them for future assignments. I have tutored in person before, have been tutored myself and now work as a part-time tutor with DBS certification on other tutor platforms. I am fully aware of its importance in education/exam revision and hope to continue my tutoring journey with you.

My lessons are both informative and fun. They revolve all around you and what you wish to learn. Each week new topics will be covered on various parts of the curriculum and new learning techniques will be introduced. Lessons are also tailored to students, more difficult topics for some will be covered in more depth than others.
