About Lau
Hi! I’m a first-year Medical student at the University of Birmingham, having recently completed my A-Levels with A in Mathematics, A in Biology and A in Chemistry*, as well as an A in AS Further Mathematics. And I have achieved 12 GCSEs with all subject to be above Grade 7, including 9 subjects achieved Grade 7.
Having recently gone through the A-Level journey myself, I understand how challenging it can be to balance a large amount of content with the demands of exam technique. My lessons focus on building a strong understanding of the core concepts, before applying them through plenty of past-paper questions.
I particularly enjoy helping students work through challenging questions step-by-step and develop effective exam techniques so they can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.
I offer online 1-to-1 lessons, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, and I mainly teach students following the AQA specification.
