About Juochukwu
Hi I'm Juochukwu, a second year student at the University of Oxford reading Biochemistry. In my first year, I came 10th in my year of 96 students. For my A Levels, I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths and I achieved an A* for each of these, and I also achieved a 9 in all 11 subjects that I took for my GCSEs. I understand the importance of being fully prerpared and confident going into your exams. With my recent experience and personal, invested approach to teaching, I hope to give my students the same peace of mind before their exams.

The primary focus of my lessons is for students to achieve an A* at A-Level or a 9 at GCSE. This is done through assessing gaps in their knowledge and working to fill them, while critically analysing exam mark schemes to become familiar with them. I will also be sharing the study techniques that helped me to achieve these results myself and consistently score at the top of my year group.
The structure of my lessons are totally flexible based on how the student learns best. However, my typical lesson is one hour long. During the first 5 to 10 minutes, I give my student constructive feedback for their most recent assignment. After this, the student has the opportunity to ask about and go over any topics in the course, or assignments from their school, that they struggle with. At the end of the lesson, I'll set a short assignment that is tailored to the student's needs.

The student's first lesson with me is free and is designed for me to understand the student's current knowledge level and areas to improve, as well as some more admin-related things such as which exam board the student is studying for. This also gives the student the opportunity to confirm whether they would like to continue receiving lessons from me.
