About Abram

Since I was young I have always had a special appreciation for the biological disciplines and the natural world. I have also discovered, that I love teaching others about it even more! I earned my master's degree in Biology, with an emphasis in marine biology. I have worked in the biotech industry for 6 years. In academia, I have worked in various labs and in the field for 11+ yrs, and taught 4 semesters of entry-level bio classes at the undergraduate level as an adjunct professor. I was also able to lead a marine bio-oriented summer internship with a mix of high school and undergraduate students.

About the lesson

As each person is different and thus learns differently, I believe the key to successful learning is to design lessons based on each individualistic learning style. I believe the world of biology is an interactive and engaging discipline and should be learned and taught the same way, as it makes up the fascinating world around us. If you take a moment to think about it, you and I are the very essence of Biology!
