About Avery
I am an extremely hard-working and motivated individual who is passionate about the sciences that I learn. This passion has helped me to maintain an A+ average in my rigorous undergraduate degree and to be an effective teaching assistant in cellular and neurobiology. My experience as a teaching assistant has not only given me teaching skills but also insights into how teachers mark assignments and tests.

My primary approach to teaching involves problem-based learning. I feel that the best way to learn is through active recall and applying concepts to problems. By working through potential problems, I can identify gaps in students learning and firm up these areas in their personalized learning style.
