About Sia
I am a motivated and high-achieving student with a 4.0 GPA and experience taking 14 AP courses across subjects including math, science, English, and computer science. I am a member of multiple honor societies and have experience tutoring classmates at school, helping them improve their understanding of core concepts taught in class. As an incoming student at Washington University in St. Louis, I value professionalism, patience, and clear communication while working with students. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, focusing on understanding bigger concepts and building foundational skills. A typical session includes reviewing difficult topics, working through practice problems step-by-step, and working on test-taking strategies for both school and college tests (i.e. SAT and AP). As a biomedical engineering student accepted to top STEM universities, I bring strong subject knowledge and relatable strategies for academic success. I tutor elementary through high school students in math and science, from foundational skills to advanced courses like calculus, chemistry, and biology.
