About Nicole
Hi! I am Nicole Hemphill and I was a Biomedical Engineering student at Hawaii Pacific University. In high school, I completed 13 AP courses and multiple college courses, allowing me to start college with 41 credits. I have been tutoring for 5 years and have experience with many ages and levels.

Each student is different, so my approach is too. I teach with the goal to understand the material, not just memorizing it. I also work backward to patch up any holes in the foundation knowledge. I start with what they are coming to me for and as we work through it.\, I build my lesson plans based on their stuck points. I try to find unique and individual analogies and examples to hel[p the student understand and remember what we worked on. I can teach any level up through Calculus 2.
