About Alia

I am a passionate scientist who thoroughly enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting students in achieving their goals. Having sat many of the same exams you will sit I have recent knowledge and relatable experience in that I know exactly what it feels like and promise I will with my knowledge and experience and your work effort be able to get you the grade you desire. I very much so work as a team with my students and make my lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible.
In my experience of tutoring most of the time students need exam exposure and this is what I strive to provide as your tutor so you become super familiar with the exam question styles, answer strategies and timings, that when you come to sit your exam you can do so in confidence and finish with the thought "that was easy."

About the lesson

I have been a private tutor for 4 years teaching a range of students in Science, English and Maths from KS3 to GCSE and A level Biology and Chemistry covering a range of exam boards.
Having sat GCSEs, A levels and achieving a degree in Biomedical Science with First Class Honours, I have recent experience in current exam practice and technique.
My teaching technique is tailored to the individuals learning style, be it auditory, visual, reading and writing or kinesthetic. So each lesson will be delivered to you in a way to maximise your learning and understanding.
My lessons include a lot of practice based learning and exam technique to get you familiar with your exam and develop a strategy for approach so when you come to sit the real exam you will do so confidently.
My lessons are typically 90 minutes that encompasses an entire lesson plus detailed exam technique and walkthroughs.
