About Ian
My name is Ian. I a 23 year old postgraduate Medical Student in my second year at Aberdeen university with a degree in Biomedical Sciences.
I am a highly motivated person having played piano since the age of 3 years old and I have always loved it and remained passionate for the piano . 2 years ago I started teaching and I found great enjoyment in watching my students develop their skills and get better as each lesson passed.
What I can promise is that I will give my all in every lesson and do my best to ensure that my students Couple a valuable learning experience with enjoyment.

I am 23 years old currently studying medicine at Aberdeen university. aside from my medical studies I’m passionate about playing the piano and achieved grade 8 with merit when I was 17 years old, and teaching since the age of 21.
I am an easygoing teacher who listens attentively to what my students wish to achieve each lesson. I understand that with each lesson there is always an objective to be achieved and I am passionate about working towards this with my students. Lessons typically last 45 minutes however if you wish, can be extended to an hour. I have taught students ranging from beginner to advanced.
as well as being grade 8, I achieved grade 5 music theory with high merit therefore i have a great depth in understanding in music.
Typical age of students ranges from 10-16.
