The Hook: I don’t just draw; I translate the world into lines.
The Story: "Most people look at a sunset and see colors. I see hex codes, light gradients, and the 'Theory of the Borrowed Eye.' Having just finished my 10th-grade boards, I realized that school teaches us to read and write, but it forgets to teach us how to see.
Why I Teach: I’m starting this class because I want to show you that a blank page isn't scary—it’s the only place where you are the architect. I'm not here to give you a grade; I'm here to help you find your stroke."

Most people don't draw what they see; they draw what they think they see. When you draw a "house," your brain takes a shortcut and draws a square with a triangle on top—a symbol you learned as a child.
In a drawing class, you aren't just learning to move a pencil; you are unlearning your brain's shortcuts. You are "borrowing the eye" of a stranger to see light, shadow, and negative space as they truly exist, rather than the labels your brain has assigned to them.
