About Rose
Music exists as a language I have spoken since childhood, blending my formal training at the University of Melbourne with a lifetime spent on stage. Do you find yourself struggling to connect the dots between your favorite records and the instrument in your hands? I spent 11 years gigging across the Australian Latin scene to refine a style that moves fluidly between rhythm and melody. My work focuses on building strong foundations for absolute beginners, while helping working professionals clarify their lead guitar approach. We will navigate the complexities of fingerpicking and barre chords by applying them directly to the songs you love. Reading sheet music and tabs becomes second nature when you understand the logic behind power chords and blues progressions. Ear training remains a vital part of my process for all students. Playing guitar is inherently social and should feel like an intuitive conversation rather than a rigid chore. Music is 90 percent listening and 10 percent execution. My 11 years of performance experience ensure that our time together stays grounded in practical, real-world application rather than just theory. I focus on keeping the atmosphere light to ensure that performance-focused students feel comfortable making mistakes. We will build your technical fluency through repetition.
