About Eric
"I sometimes find that focusing on the mechanics of barre chords distracts from the music itself. My formal education at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music grounds my teaching in solid theory.
Over 13 years, I have worked with 91 students to develop lead guitar, songwriting, and rhythm skills. We study scales, modes, and how to read tabs or sheet music effectively. Mastering power chords alongside intricate strumming patterns creates a versatile musician. Watching a student perform confidently within a single term makes the technical work truly rewarding."
