About Betty
Teaching 10 to 14 year olds remains my favorite part of the 13 years I have spent in music. It is truly rewarding.
I hold a BMus Popular Music degree from Queensland Conservatorium and apply that knowledge to every session. My methods focus on microphone technique and vibrato control to build confidence. We will work on vocal health and care to keep your voice safe. I also cover exam preparation and sight singing for those interested.
You will get comfortable using your head and chest voice during our chats. I keep things playful and hands-on to ensure you stay engaged.

You will hear your voice gain clarity and resonance as we sing. It feels like finding a new instrument inside your own throat. I use my degree background to explain complex concepts in simple ways for younger students. I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice so you stay consistent.
My 13 years of experience ensures that I can adapt to how you learn best. I want you to feel steady and prepared for any stage or small venue. This approach makes sure you keep moving forward and just keep singing.
