About Berry
Patient and clear guidance defines how I help students navigate the complexities of violin performance. 99 students have refined their musical journey under my tutelage since I began my career.
My BMus Vocal Studies degree from Melbourne Conservatorium of Music influences the way I teach tone production and ear training. I truly love watching a student find their voice through the strings. Classical music has been central to my life since childhood and I enjoy sharing that history with others.

Correct posture and hold form the starting point for every student before we move to scales and arpeggios. You begin with a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan that suits your current level. We dedicate time to spiccato and staccato bowing while managing left hand agility. Shifting positions and double stops are integrated into our study of classical repertoire.
I draw upon 13 years of teaching to ensure you feel secure in your technique. It is a pleasure to guide you through your ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep.
