About Maddie
Excelling in high school didn’t come naturally to me, and for a long time I struggled to believe in myself. With the support of tutors I was able to fulfill my potential as a student and prove to myself that I was capable. I realized that I was smarter than I gave myself credit for, and I went on to complete a Bachelor of Communication at Bond University. I approach tutoring with patience, empathy, and encouragement. My passion for tutoring comes not from always being top of the class, but from knowing what it’s like to be capable yet unsure of how to reach your potential. I focus on breaking things down clearly, step by step, so students feel supported rather than overwhelmed. My goal is not just to help with marks, but to help students feel confident in their own ability to succeed.

My tutoring services are aimed at high school students seeking help in English or Psychology. Having a Bachelor of Communications, and receiving high marks in VCE Psychology equips me with the knowledge and experience to mentor young students seeking to thrive.
I think every student is different, and the education system isn't designed for everyone. I take a supportive and flexible approach to tutoring, tailoring my sessions to each individual students needs and requirements.
A typical session will run for one hour, where we'll work together on current assignments, exam preparation, and, improving general writing and communication skills. I will work with my student to determine the best course of action.
