About BEAU

My name is Beau, I played rugby league and basketball but I realized fighting was where my passion lay. Boxing was always a sport that I appreciated however I had never given it a go. It was not until I was 16 and completely finished with rugby and martial arts that I decided to walk into a ‘proper’ boxing gym. A friend of mine had suggested I go down for years but I kept avoiding it. The moment I walked into that gym I immediately fell in love with the sport. The hard training, the discipline, the skill, the sweet science and the sheer dedication that the sport encapsulates completely enticed me. Throughout my amateur boxing career I had 23 fights, competing at a national level. It was short-lived before I decided to change my lifestyle and spend some time traveling through Europe. Once I returned home, I completed a certificate 3 and 4 in personal training. In this time I rediscovered my love for hard training and all those other facets that I witnessed on the first day I entered the boxing gym. Through dedicating time to my own training, I found a passion for understanding the requirements of specific sports programming, rehabilitation and nutrition. I pride myself on being committed to gaining knowledge and having an eager urge to continuously upskill myself. Additionally, I have a strong understanding of mental awareness that allows me to tailor and individualize my approach in accordance with each of my client’s headspace, direction and overall goal.

About the lesson

I focus on the details of boxing, and mentorship of my clients. I see value in mastering the basics and helping my student become a better person and boxer.

Sessions focus on technical aspects of boxing and fitness. Also the mental clarity to deal with life and it’s challenges.
