About Isabela
I'm a brazilian Physiotherapist (BSc in Physiotherapy in 2013) with background in Pilates/Manual Therapy/Osteopathy/Orthopaedics rehabilitation. I used to have my own practice back in Brazil and I loved to teach pilates, as well as, treating patients privately.
I completed my education in 2017, when I did my MSc degree in Physiotherapy (Thesis: “Aerobic fitness evaluation in individuals with and without chronic low back pain”). Additionaly, I'm specialist in orthopedics and traumatology (Thesis: “Assessment and physiotherapeutic treatment protocols for ankle sprain focused on functional instability for use in clinical practice, on Orthopedics and Traumatology Sector from CEAFIR”) since 2014.
During this period, I did some extracurricular courses, such as: Mulligan Articular Mobilization; Structural Osteopathy; Posturolgy; Visceral Osteopathy; Pilates and Cranial Osteopathy.
My professional experience started as a Pilates instructor at Homeostase - Instituto de Saúde where I worked from 2014 to 2017. At the same clinic I attended private patients with manual therapy. Then, from 2017 to October 2019 I worked as physiotherapist at my own private practice, attending all kinds of patients and complaints.

My teaching method is very practical and straightforward . I like to teach giving examples of my own or other experiences that some colleague might passed. And my goal is to make the student think and create solutions for "patients problems".
