About Sam
Hi there!
My name is Sam, I'm a travelling ESL from Brisbane.
I've had experience teaching students aged 5 to 55 from Vietnam, China and South Korea.
I have been teaching for two years and have recently returned to Australia to complete a Masters in Teaching.

My lessons are intended for adult learners of all levels, with a focus on improving grammar, sentence structure and communicative ability.
I am a big believer in explicit teaching. I find that a lot of ESL teachers neglect teaching their students the rules of the language - including the unwritten social norms native speakers follow. I believe a deep understanding of how language works is key to unlocking your full potential as a language learner!
I'm also happy to tailor my lessons to your individual needs, level and interests. If you study with me, expect lessons which focus on the areas you want to improve.
