About Angel
I have a Biochemistry degree in HK and Med Lab Science degree in QUT. Had tutored students in Maths while I was doing uni in HK. Grade 8 in cello, piano and music theory, and took music subject for high school public exam. Had a 5yo cello student for a year until I left HK to come to Brisbane.

For Maths, I like to explain the concept behind the topic and teach different approaches to a question to the students so that they can discover the way best suited to them. For instrument, I show them the right posture by breaking it down into several points of reminders for self-checking. Note readings are learnt progressively as they move through pieces with more variety of notes. I believe in learning the notes by sight without writing down the names because even though it would be harder to get through the piece in the beginning, it is more effective in helping to learn the notes.
For beginner cello lesson, I will be following a method book (recommending Suzuki) with an addition of a technique book. I will also supply additional pieces to expand your repertoire in appropriate times.
