About Jake
I am currently a University student looking to teach chess in my free time. I have played since I was 9, winning many national junior tournaments. I peaked at an ECF grade of 200 in standard play and 203 in rapid play. My notable games include wins against FMs and a draw against an IM. I've also represented England on multiple occasions, including the U16 World Chess Olympiad in 2013.

I will mainly base my lessons on the students' needs, which will defer from student to student. I can help you in many areas, from your opening repertoire, to tactics or even endgame studies. I am also keen on going through any recent tournament/online games as that is the best way of improving: finding where you could've have played better. I can also play some rapid play games against the student on their preferred online chess website of choice.
